This diagram is divided into the following three sections, from top to bottom.
Access: All protocols are open to the customer network, while HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP and Web Conferencing are open to the Internet through proxy servers.
DMZ: The demilitarized zone between the outside world and Oracle Collaboration Suite; includes:
Four servers for the Web client and Web Conferencing (OHS, OC4J).
Two servers for Single-Sign On and Oracle Delegated Administration Services.
Four UM servers for Files nodes, SMTP, IMAP and so on.
One Grid Control server.
Internal: The internal network, including:
Two severs for Oracle Internet Directory and infrastructure servers.
Three servers for the Calendar database and Files Domain Controller.
Three information storage servers with SAN.
