Dramatically speeds up access to Web site data.
Reduces HTTP server and back-end processing by responding to requests with cached pages.
Uses customizable caching rules to validate cached pages before responding to requests.
Can cache static, dynamic, and partial pages.
Has native clustering capabilities that enable multiple cache instances to work together as a single, logical cache.
Uses compression to shorten response times and save bandwidth.
Provides load balancing and failover for Web server farms.
Enables customers to monitor and report on response times as experienced by actual end users.
In addition, Oracle Application Server Web Cache servers can be installed at remote locations as part of a distributed content delivery network.
