Historical Collections and Trend Analysis

When using the central console, administrators have the added benefit of a database Management Repository in which to collect performance data over time. Using the historical data, administrators can analyze performance over time, research past problems as they occurred, look for trends, and report historical performance and availability. With this data, administrators can investigate scenarios such as the following: What is the current memory usage for application server #1? How was its memory usage over the past 24 hours? How does that performance trend compare to application server #2? Additional diagnostic reports such as Top Servlets, Top JSPs, Top Applications are also available to help pinpoint problems.
