UDDI Registry

UDDI is a repository for registering and discovering Web service descriptions. It stores descriptions of companies and the Web services they offer in a standard XML format. The Oracle Application Server UDDI Registry is a fully UDDI 2.0 compliant registry, supporting the following features: Web Services Discovery: Inquiry APIs for searching and browsing for Web services, and publishing APIs for registering, updating, or deleting Web services Interoperability: There are APIs for importing and exporting Web service descriptions with external UDDI repositories Security services supporting authentication and authorization for private UDDI registries
