OracleAS Wireless allows developers to build interactive 2-way applications using asynchronous applications (ASK). These applications enable both push and pull using a mobile device. The OracleAS Wireless Messaging Services provide the technology to deliver urgent messages to a mobile device and to enable the user to act on the received messages. Users of Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Workflow can invoke a simple PL/SQL interface for such notifications. The actionable notifications allow users to directly respond and complete a business transaction.
