The illustration h_templt.gif shows a possible layout for a page template. From top to bottom:
The first region in the page template spans the entire width of the template and contains a banner-style navigation page portlet from the Shared Objects page group.
The next three regions are divided equally along the width of the template. The left region contains a Simple Image item, the middle region contains a Current User Smart Text item, and the right region contains Home, My Account, and Subscribe Portal Smart Link items.
The next region is a Sub Page Links region and spans the entire width of the template.
The next two regions are divided equally along the width of the template. The left region contains a navigation bar-style navigation page portlet, the right region is an empty item region.
The final region spans the entire width of the template and contains a Page Path item.
