This is a text description of Figure 7-3, "Node Definition".
The text surrounding the figure describes the use of this dialog box. The figure is a screen capture image and contains example data that may not match your system. You must make selections appropriate for your system. The title bar label is "Define the Node".
The client area* has three tabs. The open tab is labeled "Basic", and the closed tabs are labeled "Advanced" and "DLU Requester". The "Basic" tab has three group boxes. Below the tab display is a row of four buttons.
The first group box is labeled "Control Point [CP]" and has two lines of data. The first line is labeled "Fully qualified CP name:" and has two edit boxes that are separated by a period. The first edit box has the entry "ORACLE", and the second has the entry "ITDVDH2". The second line is labeled "CP alias:" and has an edit box with the entry "ITDVDH2
The second group box is labeled "Local Node ID" and has one line of data with two edit boxes. The first edit box is labeled "Block ID:", and its entry is "056". The second edit box is labeled "Physical Unit ID:", and its entry is "00697".
The third group box is labeled "Node Type" and has three radio buttons. The first radio button (selected) is labeled "End Node". The second radio button is labeled "Network Node". The third radio button is labeled "Branch Extender Node".
The four buttons are labeled: "OK", "Cancel", "Apply", and "Help".
