This is a text description of Figure 7-11, "Defining Local LUs".
The text surrounding the figure describes the use of this dialog box. The figure is a screen capture image and contains example data that may not match your system. You must make selections appropriate for your system. The title bar label is "Define a Local LU 6.2".
The client area* has two tabs. The open tab is labeled "Basic", and the closed tab is labeled "Advanced". The "Basic" tab has six rows of data. Below the tab display is a row of four buttons.
The first data item is a text box labeled "Local LU name:" with the entry "SNDH201". The second line is a check box (not checked) with the name "Dependent LU". The third line is a check box (not checked) with the name "SNA API client use". The fourth line is a text box labeled "Local LU alias:" with the entry "SNDH201". The fifth line is a drop-down list box labeled "PU name:" and showing no entry. The sixth line is a drop-down list box labeled "NAU address:" and showing no entry. The fifth and sixth lines are in muted gray to indicate that they are not active or available.
The four buttons are labeled: "OK", "Cancel", "Apply", and "Help".
*client area (or pane) refers to the information section within the window frame or border.
