This is a text description of Figure 6-21, "Enter General CPIEC Name Properties".
The text surrounding the figure describes the use of this dialog box. The figure is a screen capture image and contains example data that may not match your system. You must make selections appropriate for your system. The title bar label is "CPIC Name Properties".
The client area* has two tabs, and the first tab is selected. The two tabs are labeled "General" (selected) and "Partner Information". A row of three buttons is at the bottom.
The "General" tab has an icon of an open notebook and several lines of data. The first line has the term "Name:" (the "N" is underlined) followed by an edit box with the entry "D41DLU". The second line has the term "Comment:" (the "C" is underlined) followed by an edit box with the entry "DB2/MVS V4.1". Below these lines is a section with a group box and a drop-down list box.
The group box has three radio buttons and is labeled "Conversation Security". The first radio button (selected) has the label "None" (the "o" is underlined). The second radio button has the label "Same" (the "S" is underlined). The third radio button has the label "Program" (the "P" is underlined) and is followed by a button labeled "User ID..." (the "U" is underlined). To the right of the group box is the drop down list box, which is labeled "Mode Name:" (the "M" is underlined) and has the entry "IBMRDB".
The three buttons are labeled: "OK", "Cancel", and "Help".
