It describes how the Oracle database server functions, and it lays a conceptual foundation for much of the practical information contained in other manuals. Oracle Database New Features Guide is addressed to people familiar with previous versions of Oracle Database who would like to become familiar with features, options, and enhancements that are new in this release of the database.
