Matrix row field values appear down the side of the matrix.
To specify the row for a matrix report:
Click a field in the Available Fields list.
Click the right arrow (>) to move the field to the Matrix Row Fields list. A line defining the field’s break level appears above it. The Level 1 matrix row field appears as the outermost row down the side of the matrix. The Level 2 field appears to the Level 1 field’s right, the Level 3 field appears to the Level 2 field’s right, and so on.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for all of the desired matrix row fields.
(Optional) To remove a field from the Matrix Row Fields list, click it then click the left arrow (<).
Not all Oracle database datatypes are supported at this time. will identify
the datatype as unknown in the wizard if your query selects an unsupported
Oracle database datatype.
Column objects and Ref columns cannot be used as matrix row fields. Therefore you cannot select them from the Available Fields list.
Attribute columns in the Matrix Row Fields list use underscore notation to indicate their parentage (for example, ADDRESS_ZIP).
