Graph Wizard: Layout page

Polar Graph With Page Control

Use the Layout page to rearrange the data in a graph. The arrangement of data determines the way a graph is displayed. In the Layout page, you can rearrange place holders that represent dimensions, such as Product, Time, Geography, and so on. When these changes are applied, then actual dimension members are displayed in the positions that you specified.

Show Page Items box -- Specifies whether to show dimension members for the page edge of the graph. When dimension members for the page edge are displayed on the graph, then you can choose the page of data directly on the graph. Dimension members can only be manipulated directly on the graph when they are located on the page edge.

Page items box -- Specifies the dimensions for the page edge of the graph, such as Product, Time, Geography, and so on.

Measures box -- Lists the measures that are currently available. Depending on the current graph type, you may be able to specify the measures to display.

Diagram -- Shows the position of markers and Groups for the graph. The markers that are shown are the types of markers that are displayed for a particular graph type, such as bars for bar graphs, and slices for pie graphs. Markers represent data on the graph.

Markers box -- Specifies the items for the markers of the graph. The markers that are shown are the types of markers that are displayed for the current graph type, such as bars for bar graphs, and slices for pie graphs. Markers represent data on the graph.

Groups box -- Specifies the dimensions for the groups of the graph. On a bar graph, a group is a cluster of bars. On a pie graph, a group is the entire pie. This box is available for all graph types except Pie-bar and Ring-bar.

or

Bars box -- Specifies the dimensions for the bars that show details about a slice of the pie. This box is only available for Pie-bar, and Ring-bar graphs.
