Use the Selector Options dialog box to set preferences for the appearance of the Selector dialog box. Options you set in this box remain in effect each time the Selector is displayed from the query.
Allow custom measure functionality box -- When this box is selected, the Custom button appears on the Selector dialog box, allowing access to the Custom Measures dialog box.
Allow access To saved selection library box -- When this box is selected, the Library button appears on the Selector dialog box, allowing users access to the Selection Library dialog box.
Show selection values box -- When this box is selected, the dimension values in the current selection appear in a list box in the Selector dialog box.
Show selection script box -- When this box is selected, the selection script appears in the Selector dialog box and in related dialog boxes.
Use listbox To represent dimension box -- When this box is selected, the available dimensions appear in a list box, even when there are few enough of them to allow them to be displayed as option button labels. When this box is clear, dimensions appear in a list box only when there are too many to display with option buttons.
Show dimension values as box -- Displays options for specifying the labels or values used when listing dimension values in the Selector. The database administrator provides these labels in the process of configuring the database. Choose one of the following options:
Long labels -- Uses long labels (for example, New York City, New York).
Short labels -- Uses short labels (for example, New York).
Values -- Uses the dimension value as it appears in the database (for example, NEWYORK).
Available tools box -- Displays a check box for each of the Selector tools. When a box is selected, the tool appears in the Selector dialog box. When a box is clear, the tool does not appear in the dialog box.
Maximum dimension values in a selection box -- Specifies the maximum number of dimension values that are allowed in a selection. The Selector prevents you from selecting more values than this maximum.
