Graph Wizard: Plot Area page

Use the Plot Area page to select options for the plot area of a graph. The plot area is the place where the graph represents data.

Background Color -- Select a color for the background of the plot area.

Border Color -- Select a color for the border of the plot area.

Show Horizontal (Circular) Grid Lines -- Select this check box to show the horizontal grid lines on rectangular graphs and circular grid lines on circular graphs. On circular graphs, the circular grid lines are the concentric circles. You can also set the line thickness and color.

Show Vertical (Radial) Grid Lines -- Select this check box to show the vertical grid lines on rectangular graphs and radial grid lines on circular graphs. On circular graphs, the radial grid lines radiate from the center of the graph to the circumference. You can also set the line thickness and color.

Show Data Labels for markers -- Select this check box to display data values that the markers represent. Pie slices, bars, and points are examples of markers. Click the Options button to specify font characteristics for the data labels.

Show Data Tips when Mouse is over markers -- Select this check box to show data tips that display as popup text when the mouse is over a marker when displayed on the Web. The data tips display the data value that is being represented by a marker. Markers represent data on a graph. Click the Options button to display the Data Tip Options dialog box, where you specify the information that appears in the data tips.

Select options for the series displayed in your graph -- Select options for the series that your graph displays. Any of the following options might be available, depending on the graph type:
