Data Wizard: Totals page

Totals fields are placed at the end of the report.   The count function can be used on any type of field but the remainder of the functions require a numeric field.

To calculate totals, averages, minimums, maximums, percent of the total value of a column, and count the number of times a value appears in the column:

  1. Click a field in the Available Fields list.

  2. Click the appropriate button for the function you want to apply to the field. An entry with the field and function name appears in the Totals list.

  3. Repeat Step 2 for any other desired functions you want to apply to the field.

  4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 until you have created all of the desired totals.

  5. (Optional) To remove a field from the Totals list, click it then click the left arrow button.
