The Value if Null Format Mask property specifies the format for the value specified by the Value if Null property for columns whose datatype is Date. This value is used by Reports Builder to interpret the Value if Null property. (It does not have any affect on how the column is displayed).
You can enter a custom mask for dates or you can select from the list of values. See Date and time format mask syntax for the correct syntax.
