A script-enabled browser is required for this page to function properly.

REP-911: The Quick Tour cannot be found. Please reinstall the Quick Tour and try again.

Cause:

In the Welcome to Reports Builder dialog box, you selected Getting Started, which displays the Oracle Reports page on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN), but your browser settings are not set correctly.

Action:

  1. Edit your Windows registry using a registry editor (for example, open a command prompt window and type regedit.exe).

  2. Choose File>Export to back up your current registry settings.

  3. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oracle\Toolkit\Tkbrowser.

  4. Set the BrowserName and the BrowserPath values to your browser name and location. For example:

  5. Close the registry editor.

  6. Shut down and restart Reports Builder.

  7. In the Welcome to Reports Builder dialog box, select Getting Started and click OK.

  8. In the Information Navigator Preferences dialog box that displays, specify the following values:

  9. Click OK to save the settings and display the Oracle Reports page on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) using the specified browser.
