Use this dialog box to select members by comparing data values in one measure with data values in another measure. You use this box to compare measures that have numeric, date, or Boolean data types only. Both measures must have the same data type.
Action box -- Specifies whether to add, keep, or remove the members that are selected in this step.
Level box -- Specifies whether to select members at all levels or at one or more particular hierarchy levels for the dimension. You can select More to display the Select Hierarchy/Levels dialog box.
Meeting Condition box -- Specifies information about the condition that the data must meet.
Measure 1 box -- Specifies the name of the first measure whose data values you want to compare. Select More to display the Select Measure dialog box or Qualify to display the Qualify Measure dialog box, in which you qualify the dimension members to use in a condition.
For box -- Qualifies all of the dimensions of the measure other than the dimension whose members you want to select.
Qualify button -- Displays the Qualify Measure dialog box, in which you qualify the dimension members to use in a condition.
Operator box -- Specifies the operator to use for the comparison. The following list describes the operators that are available for each data type:
For Boolean values: equal to and not equal to.
For date values: after, before, on or after, on or before, equal to, and not equal to.
For numeric values: greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, less than or equal to, equal to, and not equal to.
Measure 2 box -- Specifies the name of the second measure whose data values you want to compare. Select More to display the Select Measure dialog box or Qualify to display the Qualify Measure dialog box, in which you qualify the dimension members to use in a condition.
Qualify Same as Measure 1 box -- Select this box to use the same qualification for Measure 2 as you specified for Measure 1. Clear this box and use the Qualify button to specify a different qualification.
Offset box -- Check this box and specify the number and mathematical sign (either addition or subtraction) to use for comparing the values, such as -10. This box is available only for measures that have a numeric data type.
% box -- Check this box to indicate that the number to use in the comparison is a percentage, such as +10%. This box is available only for measures that have a numeric data type.
