While you can develop reports only on the supported Windows platforms, you can deploy and run reports that contain Express data on any platform to which Reports Builder is ported.
Personal Express is not supported by Reports Builder in this release.
Oracle Corporation strongly recommends that you use only Express databases that have been configured with Oracle Express Administrator. Refer to the Oracle Express Database Administration Guide for information on configuring databases with Express Administrator.
From Oracle Reports, you cannot access an Express database
(.DB
) file that requires a password.
By default, any row that contains all NA values is suppressed.
In many Express applications, data is presented within hierarchies, in which levels of data are indented. You can often drill up and down in the levels. In Reports Builder, data is presented in indented hierarchy, but drilling is not supported.
