Use the Connect (OLAP Data Source) dialog box to specify information about connecting to Oracle OLAP.
The dialog box has the following tabs:
User Name box -- Specifies the user name for connecting.
Password box -- Specifies the password for connecting.
Database box -- Specifies the name of the database that includes Oracle OLAP to which you want to connect.
User Name box -- Specifies the user name for connecting.
Password box -- Specifies the password for connecting.
Database box -- Specifies the name of the database that includes Catalog to which you want to connect.
Description box -- Specifies the description for the database.
Host Name box -- Specifies the host name for the database.
Port Number box -- Specifies the port number for connecting to the database.
SID box -- Specifies the system identifier (SID) for connecting to the database.
TNSNames box -- Select this box to specify the TNSNames service that you want to use for connecting to the database. When you select this box, the Port Number and SID boxes become unavailable and a text box is displayed in which you can specify the TNSNames service that you want to use.
New button -- Creates a new empty connection editor in which you can specify values for connecting to the database.
Delete button -- Deletes the information that is currently specified in the connection editor.
Save button -- Saves the information that is currently specified in the connection editor.
