If the self-relationship has already been identified in the underlying data dictionary, the two related columns in the table and the alias are connected with a relationship line.
To create a self-relationship:
Click
in the Icon Bar
to display the Set Relationship dialog box, which displays a list of tables
that have relationships defined with the selected table.
Query Builder automatically names the copy of the related table with an alias and draws a temporary relationship line, to connect the two counterpart columns in the table and the alias.
