Creating a group header or footer

To create a header or footer above or below each group of records:

  1. In the Paper Layout view, click the Confine Off button and the Flex On button in the toolbar.

  2. Click the frame that encloses the repeating frame for the group to which you want to add a header or footer, then drag and resize the frame to allow enough room to type the header or footer text.   Tip:   In the Object Navigator, under the Paper Layout node, expand the Body node to select the frame by name.

  3. Create a boilerplate text object for the header or footer text.
