Creating Graphic Text

To create graphic text:

  1. In the Layout Editor, click the Text tool in the tool palette.
  2. Click in the region where you want to place text.
  3. Type the desired text.
  4. The text object's bounding box grows as you enter text. Use carriage returns to wrap to the next line as desired.
  5. Click outside the text object's bounding box to exit text mode.

Note: When the Scalable Bounding Box option in the Text Drawing Options dialog is enabled, you can create a graphic text object by clicking and dragging until the bounding box is the size you want. Text wraps to the next line automatically when you reach the right side of the text object's bounding box.
