While the application is running in debug mode, you can suspend or pause application execution while it is running in an event loop or executing PL/SQL.
To suspend or pause application execution:
The debug windows are populated with information relevant to the current execution context.
If the application is executing PL/SQL, the PL/SQL Editor opens and displays the source unit and the current execution location at which suspension occurred. A pointer in the left margin indicates the current execution location.
