About Defining Triggers to Fire in Enter Query Mode

Certain triggers can be specified whether they should fire when the form is in Enter Query mode by setting the Fire in Enter Query Mode trigger property.

Consider a button that operators can select to display a List of values (LOV). The text of the When-Button-Pressed trigger attached to the button might look like this:

/* When-Button-Pressed Trigger: */ DECLARE  dummy_var BOOLEAN; BEGIN  dummy_var := Show_LOV('Customers',10,20); END;

If the Fire in Enter Query Mode property is set to Yes for this trigger, operators will be able to invoke the List of values in Enter Query mode as well as Normal mode.
