Running a Form in Debug Mode

The Run Form Debug feature runs the form through a Web browser with the debugger initialized. The Forms runtime then runs in the debug mode by connecting to the debug server and debug port.

To run a form in debug mode, choose Debug | Debug Module or click Run Form Debug in the Forms Builder toolbar. The PL/SQL code editor will stop at any breakpoints you have set or at any PL/SQL exception.

You can also run a Form in debug mode by passing DEBUG=YES as a parameter in the URL. Then, select Debug | Attach Debug from the Oracle Forms Developer main menu.
