Displaying and Hiding Menus Programmatically

In a multiple-form application, several form modules can share the same menu, or each can invoke a different menu when it becomes the active form in the session. When Form A executes the CALL_FORM Built-in procedure to invoke Form B, arguments to the CALL_FORM procedure specify whether Form B should inherit Form A's menu or display its own menu.

At runtime, however, an application can have only one form menu module active at a time. To handle the juggling of form menu modules, Oracle Forms provides the following Built-in routines that allow you to show, hide, and replace the active menu in a Oracle Forms application.

REDISPLAY_MENU

Redisplays the current menu.

REPLACE_MENU

Replaces the current menu with another menu or with no menu.
