About Expanding and Collapsing Menu Objects

Expanding and collapsing objects (lower-level menus and submenus) in the Menu Editor is similar to collapsing and expanding Oracle Forms objects in the Object Navigator. The triangular Expand/Collapse indicators in the Menu Editor are equivalent to the Object Navigator's + and - indicators. An outlined triangle indicates that a menu is expanded; a solid triangle indicates that a menu is collapsed.

You can either expand or collapse a menu object one level (using Expand or Collapse), or you can expand or collapse all related levels of a menu object (using Expand All and Collapse All). Related menu object levels refers to the current menu object, and all objects below or to the right of the object.
