Hiding a Column in an LOV

To hide a column in an LOV:

  1. Select the LOV in the Object Navigator.
  2. Select Tools | LOV Wizard.
  3. Click the Column Display tab at the top of the Wizard.
  4. All columns in the LOV are Listed in the table. For any column you want to hide, change the Width value to zero in the table.

  1. In the Object Navigator LOVs node, double-click the object icon beside the desired LOV to display the Property Palette.
  2. Under the Functional node, double-click on Column Mapping Properties. The LOV Column Mapping dialog appears.
  3. Select the desired column and then set the Display Width property to zero. (Note that hidden columns, like displayed columns, can still be assigned to return items.)
