Creating Objects in the Menu Editor
To create new menu objects below an existing menu object:
- Select an existing main menu item, or lower-level menu item in the Menu
Editor.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Create Down button in the Menu Editor toolbar
- Press the key sequence Ctrl-Down arrow
A new menu object appears below the existing menu object.
To create a menu item to the right of an existing menu object:
- Select an existing menu, submenu, or menu item in the Menu Editor.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Create Right button in the
Menu Editor toolbar
- Press the key sequence Ctrl-Right arrow
A new menu object appears to the right of the existing menu object.
Menu Item Handles Note that each time you add the first item to a lower-level menu or submenu, Oracle Forms places a shaded rectangle, or handle, to the left of the object. Use the handle to perform operations on all menu items as a unit, or to display the Menu-level properties in the Property Palette.
