Compiling a Module Automatically
To compile a form automatically when you run from Oracle Forms:
- Choose Edit | Preferences.
- Select Build Before Running (the default setting).
- Make the form you want to run the active module.
- Choose Program | Run Form. You will be
prompted to login to your data source.
Oracle Forms implicitly compiles and then runs the indicated form.
Note: Running a form when the Build Before Running preference
is set to Yes does not compile any menu or library attached to that form; you
must explicitly compile menus and libraries with the Program
| Compile Selection command.
