Debugging information is available in various debug windows. You can hide and show the windows using the Debug menu commands or the window buttons in the Debug Console toolbar.
A debug window opens in one of two states: docked in the Debug Console or undocked (floating outside the console). If the Debug Console is not open, displaying a debug window always opens it in the undocked (floating) state. If the console is already open, the debug window displays in its previously opened state.
To hide and show a debug window:
A check mark appears next to the Debug Windows submenu item when the debug window is displayed.
Or, if the Debug Console is open:
If docked, the debug window automatically contracts and expands to fill the console as you show and hide windows.
A check mark also appears next to the appropriate Debug Windows submenu item.
