Setting up Your Work Area

Note: You need to connect to a valid SCM User Account in order to perform the following steps. Contact your SCM administrator if you do not have an account.

Before you can check files in and out, you must set up your SCM work area and working folder. To set up your work area:

  1. In Oracle Forms, select File | Administration | Source Control Options.
  2. Your SCM repository and work area display at the top of the dialog. You can change these, if needed.
  3. Select a folder (container) in your work area. Your files will be checked in and out of the folder that you select in the current work area.
  4. Click OK.

The selections that you make are stored in your Windows registry and will be used the next time you open Oracle Forms.
