Modifying Existing Database Roles

To modify an existing database role (e.g., to add new users):

  1. Choose File | Administration | Database Roles to invoke the Role List dialog.
  2. If the Database Roles menu item is disabled, you do not have role administration privileges. Ask any developer who has DBA privileges to grant you CREATE ROLE, DROP ROLE, and GRANT ROLE privileges.
  3. Select the role you want to modify, then click Edit.
    The Role dialog appears, allowing you to modify the role as desired.
