The Layout Settings dialog allows you to specify the size and page direction of the Layout Editor workspace.
The workspace is the area of the Layout Editor window where you create and manipulate items and graphic text and images. The size of the workspace is independent of the current size of the Layout Editor window. That is, the workspace can be larger or smaller than the content area of the window. When the workspace is larger than the Layout Editor window, scroll the window to display other parts of the workspace.
Layout Size |
Defines the height and width of the workspace in either inches or centimeters. The workspace is the area within the Layout Editor window on which you can create items and boilerplate objects. When grid lines are displayed, the lines of the grid are displayed within the workspace boundaries. Objects that you create outside the workspace may not be displayed correctly. |
Page Direction |
Specifies the order in which pages are printed when you execute the Print Window command. Page direction can be left-to-right or top-to-bottom. |
Units |
Defines the units of measure to be used for the Layout Size. |
