End User Monitoring (EUM) is a utility provided as part of Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM) Grid Control that allows users to monitor the performance of their applications. This monitoring is switched on all the time, and reports live data with minimal overhead.
With EUM, a system administrator can accurately monitor the performance of running applications without needing to take any special additional steps. Unlike existing monitoring mechanisms within Oracle Forms, EUM records the processing time inside the runtime process as well as delays experienced by users on their workstations, providing valuable troubleshooting information.
For more information on EUM, see Oracle Application Server 10g Forms Services Deployment Guide.
