While Oracle TranslationHub assists in translating messages that are part of the standard Developer interface, messages that are displayed programmatically require special treatment. You can use the PL/SQL libraries to implement a flexible message structure for messages in triggers or procedures.
For application-specific messages—those displayed programmatically to the screen by the Built-in routine MESSAGE, or by assigning a message to a display item from a trigger or procedure—you can use the attachable PL/SQL libraries to implement a flexible message function. The library can be stored on the host, then dynamically attached at runtime. At runtime, based on a search path, you can pull in the library attached to the form. (For example, a library might hold only the Italian messages.)
