This illustration shows EAR files, RAR files, and associated OC4J-specific XML configuration files for resource adapter deployments, as follows:
EAR1 contains RAR4, RAR5, and the oc4j-connectors.xml
file that references RAR4 and RAR5. RAR4 and RAR5 each contains an oc4j-ra.xml
file.
EAR2 contains RAR3 and the oc4j-connectors.xml
file that references RAR3. RAR3 contains an oc4j-ra.xml
file.
EAR1 and EAR2 are deployed to OC4J.
RAR1 and RAR2 are for standalone resource adapters. Each contains an oc4j-ra.xml
file.
RAR1 and RAR2 are deployed to the OC4J default application.
The OC4J default application has a global application.xml
file that references EAR1 and EAR2, and an oc4j-connectors.xml
file that references RAR1 and RAR2.
