This section provides information about documentation errata in Oracle Application Server BPEL Process Manager Installation Guide.
The following modifications are required to the Oracle Application Server BPEL Process Manager Installation Guide for the Microsoft Windows (64-Bit) on Intel Itanium release:
The platforms listed in the book title, need to list Microsoft Windows (64-Bit) on Intel Itanium.
In Chapter 1, "Overview of Oracle BPEL Process Manager", the following modifications are required:
In the "Installation Scenarios for Oracle BPEL Process Manager" section, the subsection "Scenario 1: Oracle BPEL Process Manager for Developers" is not available with Microsoft Windows (64-Bit) on Intel Itanium.
In Table 1-1, the Oracle BPEL Process Manager for Developers installation type is not supported.
In Table 1-2, the disk space requirement for Oracle BPEL process manager is not required.
In Table 1-3, Oracle Database Lite has been listed as a supported database. However, it is not available on Microsoft Windows (64-Bit) on Intel Itanium.
The Note after table 1-3 is also not applicable.
In Chapter 2, " Oracle BPEL Process Manager Installation", the following modifications are required:
In the "Preinstallation Tasks for Oracle BPEL Process Manager" section, the subsection, "Steps for Oracle BPEL Process Manager for Developers" is not required on Microsoft Windows (64-Bit) on Intel Itanium.
In the "Preinstallation Tasks for Oracle BPEL Process Manager" section, reference to Oracle Database Installation Guide for Microsoft Windows (32-Bit) need to be changed to Oracle Database Installation Guide for Microsoft Windows (64-Bit).
In the "Installation Tasks for Oracle BPEL Process Manager" section, the subsection "Installing Oracle BPEL Process Manager for Developers" is not required.
In the "Postinstallation Tasks for Oracle BPEL Process Manager" section, the subsections, "Postinstallation Steps for Oracle BPEL Process Manager (All Installations)" and "Postinstallation Steps for Oracle BPEL Process Manager for Developers" are not required.
The "JDeveloper BPEL Designer" row in Table 2-4 "Accessing Oracle BPEL Process Manager Components" is not required.
