This figure shows a J2EE and Web Cache middle tier that uses an OracleAS Metadata Repository with Identity Management. The Identity Management setup consists of the following services:

• Oracle Internet Directory

• Oracle Directory Integration Platform

• Oracle Delegated Administration Services

• OracleAS Single Sign-On

• OracleAS Certificate Authority

The J2EE and Web Cache middle tier also communicates directly with the same OracleAS Metadata Repository and with the Identity Management Services. The figure also shows a separate existing database.
