The image create_oc4j_instance.gif is a screen capture of the Create OC4J Instance page in the Application Server Control Console. This page includes the following fields:

• The OC4J instance name field, which you use to enter a name for the new instance.

• Two radio buttons, which allow you to select whether or not you want to add the new OC4J instance to an existing group or to a new group. If you select the first radion button, you can select one of the existing OC4J groups from a drop-down menu. If you select the second radio button, you must provide a name for the new group that will be created.

• A check box, which you can enable if you want to start the new OC4J instance immediately after it is created.
