Adding Siebel Industry and Language Content Services

If you want to access additional language Content Services or if you have purchased one or more Siebel Industry Content Services, you must make configuration changes to include content from these services in existing or new applets.

This task is a step in Content Agents and Requests to External Content Sources.

To add Industry and Language Content Services to your Content Services base

1. Navigate to the Administration - Integration screen > WI Symbolic URL List view.
2. From the visibility filter choose Symbolic URL Administration.
3. Select the following three Symbolic URL names to be updated:
   • CompanyNews
   • OurCompanyNews
   • EmployeeCombinedNews
4. For each symbolic URL, add the argument value (for example, argument_value) to your PKG argument for the additional content services.

NOTE:  If you have subscribed to multiple content services, add these services as a comma-separated list, for example, namuk,french,italian,german,spanish,argument_value,argument_value. You must include the content service names namuk, french, italian, german, and spanish to retain content from the base Siebel Content Service.

The argument values you can add to Namuk, French, Italian, German, and Spanish for each of the nine additional industry options are provided in the following table.

NOTE:  Namuk is a news package that includes North America, United Kingdom, and all other English language international publications. Namuk is supported in the base Content Services product. You can also support other international language and news publications, such as French, Italian, German, and Spanish language publications, using the base Content Services product. Please contact your Siebel representative for more information on these news packages.
