Defining Industry Values

When you enter a new security, the Industry field is used to indicate the industry or sector to which the security belongs. Populate the industry field with a list of values that are relevant to your organization. For example, if you are adding a new biotechnology stock as a security to Siebel Finance, you may need to add Biotechnology if the industry does not already exist. NOTE:  The Industries table is used throughout Siebel Finance. Be sure to add industries that represent your companies and clients.
