Inviting Professionals to MedEd Events Using Medical Handheld


When you have scheduled a MedEd event and have decided what sessions will be offered, you can invite health care professionals to attend.

To invite a contact to a MedEd event

  1. Navigate to the MedEd screen.

    The My Med Events screen appears.

  2. From the Show drop-down list, select Invitees.
  3. Tap the New Record button, then in the new row, complete the fields.

    Some of the fields are described in the following table:

Comments

Last Name

The contact or invitee. Select from the Pick Contact list. The First Name field is automatically populated based on this choice.

Invitee Status

Indicates whether the invitee has confirmed attendance, is on a wait list, and so on. Pending is the default value.

Role

Describes the selected contact's role at the session. A drop-down list allows you to designate the contact's role in the session.
