Assigning Cycle Counts for Medical Handheld

A regular task for the administrator is assigning cycle counts to be performed by sales representatives on an inventory location.

The process below describes how cycle count can be assigned manually. But you can automate this process, or define rules in assigning cycle counts. For more information on Cycle Counts and Cycle Count Administration, please refer to Siebel Field Service Guide.

To assign a cycle count

1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Cycle Counting.
2. In the My Pending Cycle Count list, create a new record.

   Some fields are described in the following table:

   Field	Description
   Inventory Location	Location on which to perform the cycle count.
   Owner	Owner of the cycle count. Determines who is assigned this cycle count.
   Due Date	Required date when the cycle count should be completed by.

   Sales representatives receive this pending cycle count the next time they synchronize.
