Inviting Professionals to MedEd Events Using Pharma Handheld
When you have scheduled a MedEd event and have decided what sessions will be offered, you can invite health care professionals to attend. To invite a contact to a MedEd event
- Navigate to the MedEd screen.
- From the Show drop-down list, select Invitees.
- Tap the Contacts list to select it.
- On the toolbar, select the New Record button.
- In the new row, complete the fields.
Some of the fields are described in the following table.

Completed based on the last Name selection. |
Last Name |
The contact/invitee. Select from the Pick Contact list. |
Invitee Status |
Indicates whether the invitee has confirmed attendance, is on a wait list, and so on. Pending is the default value. |
Role |
Describes the selected contact's role at the session. |
