Generating Subject Visits and Activities

Site users screen subjects to generate subject visits and activities.

To screen a subject

1. In the Subjects list on the eTrials page, select a subject, and then click Screen.

   The Screen dialog box appears.

2. Enter the screen date, and then click OK.

   All screening visits and activities to take place in those visits appear in the Visits and Activities lists under the Subjects list.

3. Edit subject visit dates if desired.
4. Add or modify subject visits or activities if desired.

NOTE:  A subject can be screened only once. After screening visits have been generated, clicking the Screen button again and changing the screen date reschedules the screening visits according to the new screen date.

A subject who initially fails screening can be rescreened. The rescreen date must be the same as or later than the screen date, and rescreening cannot happen if the subject has not already been screened (that is, if the screen date is null).

To rescreen a subject

1. Select a subject in the Subjects list who has already been screened.
2. Click Rescreen, and then enter a rescreen date.

   The rescreen visits and activities are automatically added to the subject's schedule.

3. Edit subject visit dates if desired.
4. Add or modify subject visits or activities if desired.

NOTE:  A subject can be rescreened more than once. Each time the Rescreen button is clicked and the rescreen date entered, a new set of rescreening visits and activities is generated and appended to the existing ones. This regeneration occurs even if the subject visit template has not been changed.
