Setting Up Proposals, Correspondence, and Presentations


Siebel Proposals, Correspondence, and Presentations allow your employees to create documents based on templates that you create in Microsoft Office.

This task is a step in Process of Customer Communication in AECM.

To set up proposals, correspondence, and presentations

  • See Siebel Correspondence, Proposals, and Presentations Guide for how to:
    1. Install the Document Server.
    2. Install the correct version of Microsoft Office.
    3. Create field mappings.
    4. For proposals and correspondence, create template files in Microsoft Word.
    5. For presentations, create template files in Microsoft PowerPoint.
    6. Add the templates to the Siebel application.
