Siebel Professional Services Automation Guide > Project Management > End-User Procedures for Project Management > Creating TasksEnd users can use tasks to group activities together logically. Tasks function as containers for groups of related activities. In this version of Siebel Professional Services Automation, tasks can be imported from Microsoft Project into Siebel Professional Services Automation, and can be exported from Siebel Professional Services Automation to Microsoft Project. For more information about using Microsoft Project with Siebel Professional Services Automation, see Microsoft Project Integration. There are two parts to creating and using a task—creating the task record, and then adding new activities to the task.
NOTE: Priority, Status, and Type all have the parent LOV Type PSTASK_TYPE and the LOV Value Requirement. Thus, any new entries for the Priority, Status, or Type LOVs need to be associated with the parent LOV in the Application Administration > List of Values Explorer view. |
