Guidelines for Using Real Application Clusters for Oracle

Siebel applications support Real Application Clusters (RAC) failover configurations for an Oracle database. Both Active/Passive and Active/Active RAC are supported.

NOTE:  Siebel deployments using Siebel Remote can use Active/Passive RAC. Siebel deployments that do not use Siebel Remote can use either Active/Passive or Active/Active RAC.
