About Uninstalling Siebel Applications

To uninstall Siebel Business Applications products, you can use the Windows Add or Remove Programs utility or you can invoke the uninstaller by navigating directly to the executable program (SIEBEL_ROOT\_uninst\ses\uninstaller.exe) in Windows Explorer.

Uninstallation procedures for clustered nodes constitute the only exception to the process described above. For information about this type of uninstallation, see the Deployment Planning Guide.

When migrating to a new version of Siebel Business Applications, refer to the instructions in the Upgrade Guide. If you are migrating to a new database platform, consult Siebel Expert Services.

CAUTION:  To successfully uninstall, you must use the uninstaller created during the installation process. Do not delete Siebel product directories to uninstall products.
