Component tasks periodically update their state values to indicate information about their current processing, such as the current phase of operation. State values are defined at the component and task levels. Component-level state values refer to the state of the component as a whole. Task-level state values refer to the state of an individual process for a Siebel Server component. Two types of state values exist for components and component tasks:
