Siebel eScript Language Reference > Siebel eScript Commands > The Global ObjectGlobal variables are members of the global object. To access global properties, you do not need to use an object name. For example, to access the isNaN() method, which tests to see whether a value is equal to the special value NaN, you can use either of the following syntax forms. Syntax ASyntax BUsageSyntax A treats globalMethod as a function; Syntax B treats it as a method of the global object. You may not use Syntax A in a function that has a local variable with the same name as a global variable. In such a case, you must use the global keyword to reference the global variable. See Also |
