Preparing the Setup for Adobe Forms Integration


Perform the following steps:

  1. Install Adobe Form Server.

    This server deploys high-volume, secure, XML-based forms as Adobe PDF files to any platform. For installation instructions, see the documentation provided with the application. You must install Java 2 SDK, SE, and IBM WebSphere before you install Adobe Forms Server.

  2. Install Adobe Designer.

    This form design tool allows you to create forms based on XML. Adobe provides the installation instructions for the application.

  3. Make sure that your computer can read Adobe documents.

    Users view and interact with Adobe forms and other PDF documents in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Siebel Business Applications use Adobe Acrobat Reader to display PDF documents. You might need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader.
