Administering Handheld Devices for Store-and-Forward Messaging
When a Siebel Handheld application with Store-and-Forward Messaging enabled is launched the first time, the handheld device sends a registration message to register itself on the Siebel server. When the Siebel Handheld application is started the first time, make sure that the device has a wired or wireless network connection with the queue manager and the Siebel server. After the handheld device is registered, the mobile user and device information are populated.
