Setting the Installed Flex SDK Preference

You must specify Adobe Flex SDK 3.4.1 as the SDK to be used in the Adobe Flash Builder 4 Preference settings. This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Adobe Flash Builder 4.

To set the installed Flex SDK preference

1. Open Adobe Flash Builder.
2. In the Window menu, click Preferences.
3. Expand the Flex menu item, and click Installed Flex SDKs.
4. Verify that there is an entry for Adobe Flex 3.4 that points to the installed SDK files and that the entry is selected in the check box.
5. If an entry does not exist:
   1. Click Add.
   2. In the Flex SDK location, enter the path to the Flex 3.4.0 SDK folder, for example:

   C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Builder 4\sdks\3.4.1

   3. In the Flex SDK name, enter a name for the Flex SDK, for example, Flex 3.4.1.
6. Click OK.
