Creating a New Label

This task is a step in Process of Configuring Sales for a Top-Level Object from the Filter Definition File. To create a new label, complete the following procedure.

To create a new label

1. Start Oracle JDeveloper.
2. Open the lfs.properties file located as shown, for example, in the following table.

   Product	lfs.properties File Location
   Siebel CRM	CONFIG_PROJECTS_OP\appcfg_sync_80x\src\config\enu

3. Scroll all the way to the end of the file, add the following strings, and then save the file:

   "IDS_CUSTOM_MED_ED_EVENT" and value ="My Med Ed Events"

   "IDS_CUSTOM_MED_ED_NAME" and value ="Name"

   "IDS_CUSTOM_MED_ED_DESC" and value ="Description"
