Creating Server Connections


This task is a step in Process of Installing and Configuring Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant.

Use the following procedure to create an application server connection.

To create an application server connection

  1. In Oracle JDeveloper, right-click the Applications Server node in the Connections Navigator tab, then choose New Application Server Connection.
  2. In the Create Application Server Connection window, accept the default value for the Connection Name, and choose Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.3 as the Connection Type. Click Next.
  3. Specify a username and password, and click Next.
  4. Specify the Oracle SOA Suite host address for Host name and a value for the OC4J Instance Name, and click Next. Click Finish.

Use the following procedure to create an integration server connection.

To create an integration server connection

  1. In Oracle JDeveloper, right-click the Integration Server node in the Connections Navigator, then choose New Integration Server Connection.
  2. In the Create Application Server Connection Welcome page, click Next.
  3. Enter ServerConnection1 in the Connection Name field, and click Next.
  4. Choose AppServerConnection1 for the Application Server, enter the host name in the Host Name field, and a port number in the Port Number field. Click Finish.

    NOTE:  It is recommended that you test the server connection.
