Date Function
This standard VB function returns a string representing the current date as determined by the computer's clock. Syntax
Date[$]
Returns
The current date, as a value of type string. Usage
The Date function returns a ten-character string. The dollar sign ($) in the function name is optional. If it is included, the return type is string. Otherwise the function returns a variant of vartype 8 (string). Example
This example displays the date for one week from today's date (the current date on the computer). Sub Button_Click Dim nextweek nextweek = CVar(Date) + 7 End Sub
