Siebel Handheld Synchronization Methods and Architecture

The following methods can be used to synchronize data on the handheld device with data in the Siebel server database: Direct Server Sync (DSS) and Direct Server Sync by means of Proxy (DSSvP). The architecture of these methods is discussed in the following sections.
