About Partitioning Tables

You can partition any table according to your business requirements; you can select all the tables that Siebel Systems provides for partitioning, or you can select a subset of them.

Siebel eBusiness Applications partitioning templates provide 10 partitions for each partitioned table. You select the number of partitions for your implementation based on your business needs, and define partitioning keys based on the number of partitions.
