Updating Assets when an Order to Upgrade Bandwidth Is Complete

As components needed to upgrade bandwidth are installed, convert the line items representing these components to assets, so you can track them for service and for change orders.

NOTE:  Before configuration, the Auto-Asset button can be used to convert line items to assets. However, during configuration, the Auto-Asset button is usually removed and the process is automated. If the Auto-Asset button has not been removed, the end user can use the following procedure.

This task is a step in Process of Upgrading Bandwidth at Network Sites.

To convert a line item representing a network component to an asset

1. Navigate to the Order screen.
2. Use a search to display the network order.
3. For each line item that represents a network component:
   1. Select Complete in the Status field of all subcomponents.
   2. Click Auto Asset.
