Associating Auctions with Categories

An auction must be associated with at least one category for it to be created. Auctions can be associated with categories using Siebel eSales, Siebel Sales, or Siebel Call Center.

Within Siebel eSales, a lister can create a new auction and associate it with the appropriate category using the Create Auction wizard. In the employee applications, an administrator can navigate to the appropriate category and create an auction using the Catalog Administration views.
