Import Language-Independent Siebel Seed Data

Siebel seed data must also be installed to enable a fully functioning Bridge. This updates the seed data in the Siebel transactional database for items such as responsibility data and lists of values information.

To import language-independent seed data

Copy the following files:


Copy	From	To
seed_63_752_bridge.dat	63_752_Horz_Bridge folder	Local Machine
seed_63_752_bridge_<xxx>.inp (where <xxx> corresponds to the database platform you are using)	63_752_Horz_Bridge folder	Local Machine

Open a command line, and go to the same directory where you copied the .dat and .inp files.

Run one of the import commands from the following table, after replacing these connection parameters with the values appropriate to your database environment:

Connection parameters:

Password

ODBCDataSource

DatabaseOwner

Import command (one of the following):
