Accessing Siebel Analytics Alerts

The Siebel Alerts page shows your currently active alerts, along with information about when the content was delivered. You can view active alert content, or clear all occurrences of the active alert. The alert will be triggered again when conditions warrant.

When alerts are present, the link Alerts! appears at the top of each Siebel Answers, Siebel Delivers, and Siebel Intelligence Dashboard page.

To access alerts

When Siebel Delivers is enabled, you can add an Alerts section to any dashboard page. However, an Alerts section will be automatically added to the first page of your My Dashboard if one is not manually placed there.

Creating a Siebel Delivers iBot

This section explains how to create an iBot in Siebel Delivers.

To create an iBot

  1. Navigate to Siebel Analytics.
  2. Click the Delivers link.
  3. In the selection pane, navigate to the saved request or folder for which you want to create an iBot, and select it.

    4. The iBot Definition page appears.

  4. Create the iBot by doing the following:
    1. In the iBot Caption text box, type a descriptive name for the iBot.
    2. In the iBot Description text box, type a brief description for the iBot.
    3. Click the When would you like the iBot to run? link.

      4. The Schedule page appears.

  5. To run the iBot only once, do the following:
    1. In the Start Date text box, click the calendar select button and select the date on which the iBot should start.
    2. In the Recurrence section, click to select the Run once option.
  6. To schedule the iBot to repeat on an interval, do the following:
    1. In the Start Date text box, click the calendar select button and select the date on which the iBot should start.

      2. NOTE:  To make the iBot start immediately, leave the Start Date blank and select the Start Immediately option.

    2. In the Recurrence section, choose the frequency with which you want to run the iBot.
    3. In the End Date section, select when you want the iBot to become inactive.
  7. Click Finished.
  8. Click Save.
