Settings for the Chart Image Server

Siebel Analytics Web uses a third-party charting engine to render charts. The engine is PopChart Image Server from Corda Technologies. The following registry entries allow you to override the default image type and browser client connection type. You need to create a POP key in the Chart key, and create the registry entries in the POP key.

This registry entry allows you to override the image type generated by the PopChart Image Server. The internal default is Flash.

The other choices are GIF (CompuServe Graphics Interchange Format) and PNG (W3C Portable Network Graphics). Flash images provide the greatest degree of interaction because they support mouseover behaviors (such as pop-up data labels), navigation and drilling.

This registry entry overrides how a browser client will connect to the PopChart Image Server. The default is http://AnalyticsWeb_machine:81/?, where AnalyticsWeb_machine is the machine name where Siebel Analytics Web is running, and 81 is the port number.

This setting must be fully qualified with the port number (if other than 80) using the notation as shown.
