Customizing the User Interface

This chapter describes how to customize the appearance of the Web user interface for Siebel Analytics.

NOTE:  In Siebel Analytics Web, customization of user interface elements and appearance is accomplished by modifying registry entries, XML message files, and styles and skins, and not through the use of JavaScript. It is recommended that you do not modify JavaScript files located in the folder Web\App\Res in the Siebel Analytics Web installation directory. This is because the objects and methods in these scripts may change, and because these files may be replaced when upgrading. (In a dashboard, users with the appropriate permissions can customize an individual dashboard section by adding HTML to it. This HTML can include JavaScript.
