Configuring the Web Service


Web services are used to direct the inbound messages from the third-party invoicing application. You must make sure that the Web services are correctly configured and activated. For more information about configuring Web Services, see Application Services Interface Reference: Siebel eBusiness Application Integration Volume VI.

To configure the Web service

  1. Navigate to Site Map > Web Services Administration > Inbound Web Services.
  2. Select the row with Siebel Invoice in the Name field.
  3. In the Inbound Web Services list, make sure that the values of the Namespace, Name, and Status fields match the ones in the following table.

  5. In the Service Ports list, make sure that the values of the Name, Type, and Business Service fields match the ones in the following table.
  6. Name
    Type
    Business Service
    Default
    Business Service
    Siebel Invoice

  7. In the Transport field, enter the type of protocol used for making the Web Service call.
  8. In the Address field, enter the location of the Web server and the user who is authorized to call this Web service.
