Adding a Subtask to an Engineering Task

If a task is a complex one with multiple components, Engineering enters each component as a subtask record, then links it to the main engineering task.

To add a subtask to an engineering task

Navigate to Site Map > Release > Engineer Tasks.
In the Engineer Tasks list, select a task to which you want to add a subtask.
Click the Subtasks view tab.
In the Subtasks list, add a new record and complete the fields as needed.
