Reviewing Employee Balances


As an administrator, you can review a list of employee balances or drill down on a particular employee's balance to view the earnings and payment details that contributed to the balance.

To review employee balances

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Incentive Compensation Tracking > Employee Balances.
  2. In the Employee Balances list, query for the employee.
  3. In the employee record, drill down on the hyperlink in the Balance field.
  4. The Earnings, and Released Payments lists appear.

  5. Review the information in the Earnings list.
  6. The following table describes the fields.

    Field
    Comments
    Calculation Run
    The calculation run on which the earnings are based
    First Name
    First name of the participant
    Last Name
    Last name of the participant
    Net Earnings
    Net earnings for the calculation run
    Release Date
    Release date of the calculation run

  7. In the Earnings list, select an earnings record and drill down on the hyperlink in the Calculation Run field to view earnings detail.
  8. Review the information in the Released Payments list.
  9. The following table describes the fields.

    Field
    Comments
    Adjustment
    Adjustments to the released amount.
    Balance
    The balance due to the participant.
    Comment
    A text field for comments associated with adjustments to the payment release.
    Payment Release
    The name of the payment release.
    Release Amount
    The amount of the payment release. If there are adjustments, this may be different from the balance.
    Release Date
    Release date of this payment release.

  10. In the Released Payments list, select a record and drill down on the hyperlink in the Released Amount field to view the details of the payment release.
