Reviewing an Employee's Performance Against Targets


Managers can review an employee's performance against incentive compensation quota targets using the Quota Achievement and the Quota Achievement Analysis views. Replaced calculation runs do not appear in these views.

To review an employee's performance against quota targets

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Incentive Compensation > My Team's Compensation.
  2. In the Participants list, select the employee whose quota targets you want to review, and then click the Quota Achievement view tab.
  3. The Quota Achievement list appears, displaying the quota targets assigned to that employee, and the employee's achievement on each target.

    The following table describes the read-only Quota Achievement fields.

    Comments
    Achievement Amount
    The amount depends on the type of performance measure and type of rule.
    • For a % Quota performance measure, it is the achievement percentage.
    • For a revenue performance measure, it is the total dollar amount achieved.
    • For an individual rule, it is what the individual achieved.
    • For a group rule, it is the amount that applies to the participant.
    Achievement Qty
    This amount depends on the type performance measure and the type of rule.
    • For a % Quota performance measure, it is the achievement percentage achievement.
    • For a Units performance measure, it is total units achieved.
    • For an individual rule, it is what the individual achieved.
    • For a group rule, it is the quantity that applies to the participant.
    Calculation Run
    Calculation run on which the quota achievement is based.
    % Achievement
    The percentage of the quota achieved by the participant.
    Period
    Period of achievement.
    Plan
    Plan name.
    Plan Rule
    Plan Rule associated with the plan.
    Quota
    Quota for the period.
    Quota Type
    Quote type (for example, Amount).
    Target Amount
    Target Quota amount.
    Target Qty
    Quantity target for the period.

  4. Click the Quota Achievement Analysis view tab to view a graphical representation of the employee's quota achievement.
