Process for Customizing Plan Rules


The following section describes the process an administrator might follow to customize compensation plan rules. Your company may follow a different process according to its business requirements.

Administrator Process

The administrator performs the following procedures to customize plan rule elements.

  1. Defines payout factor. The administrator defines the Plan Rule Payout percentage. For more information, see Defining the Plan Rule Payout Factor.
  2. Defines the Plan Rule as estimable. The administrator defines the plan rule as estimable to estimate compensation for plan participants. For more information, see Defining a Plan Rule as Estimable.
  3. Assigns a personal plan rule. The administrate assigns a personal plan rule to a plan participant. For more information, see Associating a Participant with a Personal Plan Rule.
