Process for Customizing Plan Rules
The following section describes the process an administrator might follow to customize compensation plan rules. Your company may follow a different process according to its business requirements.
Administrator Process
The administrator performs the following procedures to customize plan rule elements.
- Defines payout factor. The administrator defines the Plan Rule Payout percentage. For more information, see Defining the Plan Rule Payout Factor.
- Defines the Plan Rule as estimable. The administrator defines the plan rule as estimable to estimate compensation for plan participants. For more information, see Defining a Plan Rule as Estimable.
- Assigns a personal plan rule. The administrate assigns a personal plan rule to a plan participant. For more information, see Associating a Participant with a Personal Plan Rule.
