Applying a Seasonality Skew to a Quota (Manager)

After the compensation administrator creates seasonality skews with the quota-setting tool, the manager applies the skews to a quota.

To apply a seasonality skew to a quota

Navigate to Incentive Compensation Sales Hierarchies> Sales Hierarchy Explorer.
In the Explorer tree, drill down the Sales Hierarchy to Quotas.

The figure that follows shows the path is Sales Hierarchies > Corporate Hierarchy > Sales Hierarchy Versions > Version #1 > Territories > Direct Sales Channel > Territories > Western Region> Positions > MSTERN > Quotas.

Click the + sign next to the Quotas subfolder to expand the folder and show the quotas for that position.
In the Quotas list, select the quota that you want to associate with the manager, and then drill down on the hyperlink in the Name field.
In the Personal Quota Roll Down form, click the select button in the Seasonality Skew field.
In the Pick Seasonality Skew dialog box, select the Seasonality Skew to associate with the quota, and click OK.
Select the Quota Spread view tab to verify that the quota is spread according to the skew.

NOTE:  The measure period of the skew should be the same as the measure period of the quota.
