Specifying an Account Profile


Using the Account Profile view end users can track profile information about an account, including the call frequency, details about the account size, the best times to call on the account, and historical list of all activities at the account. The Account type field in the Account form (at the top of the screen) determines what fields appear in the Account Profile form.

To add account profile information for an account

  1. Navigate to the Accounts screen.
  2. From the Show drop-down list, select My Accounts.
  3. In the Accounts list, select an account.
  4. NOTE:  When selecting an account, do not click a hyperlink (underlined field). Doing so takes you to another view.

  5. Click the Account Profile view tab.
  6. NOTE:  The fields that appear in the Account Profile form depend upon which Account Type field in the Account form at the top of the screen. All fields in the Account Profile form are editable.

  7. In the Account Profile form, review field values and edit those needing modification.
  8. You can track the best times to call on the account in the Best Times list.

  9. Scroll down to the Best Times list, add a record, and complete the necessary fields.
  10. The Activities list shows all of the activities associated with the account.
