Associating Cost List Line Items with a Cost List (Administrator)

The line items in a cost list map to products (project resources). The following procedure explains how to associate cost list line items and project resources with a cost list. This procedure should be used after you have completed Adding New Project Resources to the Product List (Administrator).

To associate a cost list line item with a cost list

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Pricing Administration > Cost List.
  2. In the Cost Lists list, select the cost list that you want to add costs to.
  3. In the selected record, click the hyperlink in the Cost List field to display a Cost List form and a Cost List Line Items list.
  4. In the Cost List Line Items list, click New to display the Add Internal Products dialog box.
  5. In the Add Internal Products dialog box, select the resource product to be added to the cost list, and then click OK.
  6. In the Cost List Line Items list, enter the cost of the resource product in the Standard Cost field.
